Non-Sufficient Funds

Client agrees to pay a $25 fee for NSF fee/change of file. Please ensure you call the office to update your credit card on file when the expiration date is approaching to ensure we have the proper card on file. If a new debit/credit card is used, we will get you a new debit/credit card authorization form to authorize us to charge the new credit card.

Additional Fees

There will be a $25 delivery fee if Nicole’s Pet Care, LLC must pick up supplies for your pet(s). Please remember to leave adequate food, litter, leashes etc. for all your pet(s) needs.

Reservations

Please always confirm your reservations through our online scheduling portal, over the phone with Nicole or in writing via email. We cannot except telephone messages left as reservations. This ensures there is no miscommunication and your pet(s) will be cared for.

Holidays

There will be an additional one-time $20 fee added to the regular service fee for vacation visits and overnight stay services performed on the following holiday periods: New Year's Holiday, Easter Holiday, Memorial Holiday, 4th of July Holiday, Labor Day Holiday, Veterans Holiday, Thanksgiving Holiday and Christmas Holiday. (Does not apply to regularly-scheduled Monday-Friday Mid-day dog walks). This is not added to every visit. It is only added once per reservation.


Friends and Family Visitors

If you plan to have other visitors at your home other than Nicole’s Pet Care, LLC such as a cleaning company, or friends and family, as a courtesy please let us know. We will not be held responsible for any unforeseen damages that may occur after our services have been provided.

Return Home from Your Trip

Please remember to call, email or text us within 2 hours of returning home from your trip. You can call/text us at any hour and leave us a message that you have returned. If not, we will continue visiting to ensure that your pet(s) are being cared for. Additional trips will be added to your bill.


Emergencies/Inclement Weather

We will make every effort to safely get to your home to care for your pet(s). We do follow the Federal Government closings guidelines in cases of severe weather(for regular Mid-day dog walks only). For our vacation visits and overnight sitting clients, Nicole’s Pet Care, LLC recommends that you to have a responsible emergency contact who can quickly get to your home to care of your pet(s) in the event of unforeseen or severe inclement weather where we are not safely able to arrive to your home to care for you pet(s). 

Policies & Procedures

Cancellations

For regular mid-day dog walks, if you need to cancel service, please do so by 9am to avoid being charged for that day’s service. Cancellations may be made by phone, email or text to Nicole. For vacation visits and overnight stays cancellations may be made up to 24 hours in advance of the first scheduled visit EXCEPT for holidays. During holiday periods vacation visits overnight stays, cancellations may be made up to 72 hours in advance of first scheduled visit. After that period, there will be a $25 cancellation fee. Nicole’s Pet Care, LLC reserves the right to deny service or terminate service because of safety concerns, financial concerns, or inappropriate or uncomfortable situations.

Key Pick-up and Return

Nicole’s Pet Care, LLC will retain two copies of your key at the contract signing. There is a $15 charge for each key pick-up and drop off occurrence (after the initial consultation).

Payments and Deposits

Accepted payment methods are debit/credit cards only. For first time vacation visits and overnight stay clients, 50% is due at contract signing to secure dates and service. The remaining balance is due in advance, prior to the first trip the pet sitter makes to your home.


For regular mid-day dog walks, payment is due on Monday or the first day in the week we provide service. You also have the option to pay the first day of the month for a monthly contract. Nicole’s Pet Care, LLC reserves the right to refuse service for non-payment. Services will resume once payment is made.
